First Impressions

I was very surprised to receive a heavy sample box as I was only expecting milk samples and was excited to open it. It turned out to be a well-rounded box of samples covering various needs beyond milk, and I loved that they provided a free wet bag! It was definitely an all rounded pack with decent vouchers for if you decide to purchase the full sized product after trying.

Sample Review

Similac Mum claims to be the 'Most Complete Maternal Milk'. You can read more about the product's nutritional benefits here. I started paying attention to prenatal milk as I'm not the best eater and I don't have the best appetite. 
 
Thus far, I've tried prenatal milk samples from Enfamama+ (Chocolate and Vanilla) and Nature One, so these are my reference points. Both are pleasant in texture and taste, though Enfamama has a very mild salty aftertaste. 

Vanilla: Similac Mum provides a less sweet alternative to Enfamama and Nature One. I actually liked it the best of the 3 and it was nice to drink room temperature and cold. For some reason, it did not dissolve very well in hot water, even with vigorous stirring (I found Enfamama much better in this regard). But I really appreciated that it was not sweet. 

Strawberry: This was not too sweet and surprisingly pleasant. 
 
Would I Buy the Product(s) Included?

I was keen to purchase the 400g tin in Vanilla using the $5 off code provided with the sample set (ABBOM522 on Abbott's Nutrition Official Store in Shoppee Mall), but only the 900g tin is available ($34.10 w/o discount). Lucky for me, a friend ended up giving me a brand new, unopened 400g Vanilla!

First Impressions I love any sample pack that feels substantial and contains useful items, and was pleasantly surprised at the weight of the pack when I picked the bag off my doorstep.
